{I felt giddy and overwhelmed when I had the chance to visit Shakespeare’s Globe – I wanted to take in all that this gorgeous and unique theater has to offer.}
I hope that you had a wonderful Christmas! During my time off I was finally able to sit back and really process my very last minute trip to England that I went on at the beginning of the month. As the years go by it gets harder and harder to go on family trips so being able to explore the gorgeous city of London alongside my siblings and my mom felt like an absolute blessing! I posted the first part of my trip here but I wanted to share a few more photos and show you why London has made it into my top 3 favorite cities in the world.

{The architecture and history in the city and surrounding areas are truly astounding. I often caught myself staring wide-eyed and imagining what the world was like so many years ago when those structures were first erected *does anyone else do this?*. The photo above is from one of the oldest Roman bath houses in the world in a town called Bath.}
{Our entire trip I felt like a modern version of Snow White. London animals are truly the friendliest but their squirrels won me over; I am not exaggerating when I say that I tried very hard to come up with a plan to bring one home with me}

{The unique Christmas decorations on Carnaby street are so incredibly cute that I bumped into quite a few people while walking since I could not stop from gawking up at the gorgeous little birds!}
{London’s Christmas market on Hide Park is quite literally a winter wonderland. You can’t really go wrong with a combination of rustic cabin bars, amusement park rides, hearty food and twinkling lights}
{Notting Hill inspired me to paint my future home blue & red and to always make time for tea-time}
In a few days we managed to squeeze as much life, history and culture out of London and I am proud to say that I can now speak in a very convincing British accent!
